"Mami, You have all the qualities and definition of a mother. The one who raises, loves and cares for her children .You are the one who comforts us when we are sick. Mami you were my shield and my rock, there is that Vacuum now I don’t know who to turn to when in trouble but God. "Mami, from the first day I met you in Dayton you became my mami. You made it a point to call me from time to time just to make sure I was okay. You took time to make scarves and mailed them to me. You made me feel special and for that I will always be thankful. Mami, I remember your trip to Michigan and how excited you were to see Canada on the other side of the river. It feels to me like it was Yesterday and today you are gone. Remember you promised paying me more visits? So, what is the plan? My visits to Dayton will never be the same without you. Thank you for being such a loving and caring mother. Those dance moves, that smile and you just being you mami are memories I will carry for the rest of my life. May you find peace in the bosom of the most high God."

"Grandma Rose lived a life as a loving and caring person. She loved the Lord with all her heart and put her trust in him. I never really got to know Grandma Rose that well, but from her actions I knew she was an excellent role model. May her soul rest in peace."

"Grandma Rose has been in my life since I was a young child. I remember my mom taking my brother and I from Columbus to Dayton to stay the weekend or even the week with Grandma Rose. There was never a dull moment when I was with Grandma Rose. I liked to sit and admire her knitting various items, such as hats, mittens, and scarfs. Grandma Rose came to Columbus during the summer of 2015. She was present at my 8th grade graduation along with Grandma Elizabeth. When she was with us, she really enjoyed watching the Price is Right. I also remember that being her favorite tv show back in the day. She and Grandma Elizabeth would laugh at the people in crazy costumes and discuss with one another how some people are just lucky as the knitted away. Grandma Rose will truly be missed. She is one of my lovely grandmothers that has taught me how to act like a lady and be kind to others."
